Ever since I was 15 years old I’ve been kicking off the holidays in South Florida via the iconic commercial for Santa’s Enchanted Forest. While the jingle hasn’t been hitting the airwaves the past two years, I am still so honored to be involved in the ceremonies that bring in holiday cheer to several cities throughout the months of November and December.
Festival of Lights for the Town of Miami Lakes for 9 or so consecutive years and the Tree Lighting Ceremony for the City of Hialeah since my first business, GiGi’s Dance Academy, has been performing there since 2003.
The holidays have always been my favorite season, but much more so since I’ve been to usher them in at so many beautiful events for so many consecutive years.
It never gets old to see the families celebrating, the excitement in the tiny faces when Santa arrives, the magic that truly fills the air at these events. And now that I am a mother too, even more so.
Here are the upcoming holiday celebrations I'll be MCing throughout South Florida the next few weeks.
Holiday Celebration at the Park
Event date and time: Saturday December 6th. 4:00pm – 8:00pm.
Location: Doral Central Park – 3005 NW 92nd Avenue, Doral, FL 33172
Celebrate the season with a night full of holiday performances for the whole family. From inflatables, a snow tubbing slide, face painters, interactive activities to live-performances, you will surely be filled with the holiday cheer!

City of Hialeah Santa’s Snow Blast
Event date and time: Saturday December 13th. 6:00pm – 10:00pm.
Location: Milander Park 4800 Palm Avenue Hialeah, FL 33012
Children of all ages are encouraged to come with their parents for carnival rides, food trucks, live performances by local dance academies and, of course, the chance to play on a mountain of glistening, white snow.

Jr. Orange Bowl Parade
Event date and time: Sunday, December 14, 2025 3:00 PM 8:00 PM
Location:Coral Gables Miracle Mile 220 Miracle Mile. Coral Gables
Every December, the streets of Downtown Coral Gables come alive in celebration. Imbued with the spirit of the holidays, filled with laughter, music, lights, and spectacle, the Miracle on the Mile Holiday Parade has truly become a celebrated tradition of the South Florida community. People of all ages are invited to this wonderful celebration; to enjoy the sights and sounds of this magical event. For those looking for a bit more fun, all types of units are invited to participate, including marching bands/drum corps, community organizations floats and/or marching/walking units, motorized vehicles, and mounted (equestrian) units.
